Certification

In order to show our customers that quality & service are important to us, we only work with reliable manufacturers, who are all under strict supervision of the veterinary and health authorities. All our EU manufacturers are in possession of an EU health approval number, which not only means that they comply with all veterinary and health requirements, but that they also meet the complete HACCP standards.

HACCP
Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point or HACCP is a systematic preventive approach to food safety and pharmaceutical safety that addresses physical, chemical, and biological hazards as a means of prevention rather than finished product inspection. HACCP is used in the food industry to identify potential food safety hazards, so that key actions can be taken to reduce or eliminate the risk of the hazards being realized.

GMP+ FSA
In 2003 we obtained our GMP+ certificate (Good Manufacturing Practices + HACCP). GMP+ International manages the GMP+ Feed Safety Assurance scheme, which stands for a reliable, independent, chain-oriented, high level use of principles to assure feed safety throughout the feed chain worldwide. The basic principle of the GMP+ FSA scheme is that the feed chain is part of the whole animal production chain. Proper assurance of feed safety worldwide is a high priority. Companies must live up to their responsibilities and respond properly and convincingly to the needs of animal production. The GMP+ Feed Safety Assurance scheme is an aid to realise 
this. GMP+ FSA has been developed since 1992. It was managed from 1992 up until 2009 by the Product Board Animal Feed, The Hague, The Netherlands. Since 2010, this scheme is managed by GMP+ International.


SKAL
In 2006 we obtained our Organic Production Certificate for the sale of organic dairy products within the European Union. Skal is the inspection and certification body for organic production in the Netherlands. Skal is a member of EOCC, the European Organic Certifiers Council.

If required, we can also furnish you with HALAL and KOSHER certificates for our dairy products, depending on your country’s requirements.

HALAL
The Islamic term of Halal means permitted, allowable, approvable, lawful (according to Islamic jurisprudence or so called shariah).

KOSHER
The term Kosher is an anglicized form of the Hebrew word, kasher, which means "fit" (as in fit for consumption).  Kosher foods must meet a number of criteria under Jewish law. Kosher foods are those that conform to the regulations of the Jewish Halakhic law framework, kosher meaning fit or allowed to be eaten. These rules form the main aspect of kashrut, Jewish dietary laws.
